no, it's not a porn site or anything of that sort. i just want to restrict access to this one particular website.

Like for one windows computer, or the network or what? I assume you just mean on one computer, then you could just make the address resolve to like 127.0.0.1 in the C:\windows\hosts file.

Look in C:\windows\hosts.sam file for a sample of how to do it.

In IE: Tools>Options>Content>Content Advisor>Settings>Approved Sites

Enter the URL of the site you'd like to be blocked and hit "Never"
