Is there a way of maping hotkeys in Oblivion to the num pad?

I'm left handed and use the mouse with my left hand.

In all games, the first thing I do is switch the movement keys to the home - end -pg down etc. keys. I just can't work with the WASD setup most games use.

The problem with Oblivion is that the regular numeral keys, where hotkeys are assigned, don't seem to be remapable to other keys...or am I wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I think I read on the Elderscrolls forum that it is impossible to map new hotkeys- that's why nobody has made a mod increasing the number of "Quick Access Weapon slots" you can have (that circle that pops up with 1-6).
 
Inside the .ini there is a section on the hotkeys, you could try fiddling about with different buttons, but remember to back up the .ini first!!
Can't remember exactly which .ini it was in, or which part, and my computer is in a state at the moment, so I can't really check, but it's somewhere in there, and they are fairly obviously marked as the hot keys.
