Lets say the guy wants to get married with his gf and want to do it in a way without letting the male side's parent know. Is that possible? I mean it is not mandatory to change your name or hold a big ceremony to get married.

All you have to do is to register a marriage certificate and go to a judge and they will certify the marriage?

Also lets say the bf have to fill out forms at the bank with the parents like group insurance, investment, and beneficiary, can the guy still write as Single and without getting in to legal trouble?

Your "friend" is marrying a non-asian eh?

And yes, I believe you can get married at the courthouse.

Yep, get married by a JP. As long as you're both of age you don't ever need to tell either family.

She's a hooker, man. Your parents will find out when you ask them about all the red bumps.

yes you can get married. If you list single on a legal document then it is illegal so be prepared for that.

And WTF man?

Well if they're worthless, why would he care?

If you aren't smart enough to figure out the answer to this question on your own, then you shouldn't be getting married.

Are you still inside your mother's belly? Or did you surgically merged with your father?

Correct. It's mad easy to get married in secret. The problem is keeping the marriage a secret.

No. Do NOT do this. Am I making myself clear? Do NOT do this. Even if you don't get caught now, if by some chance down the road there are marriage problems this can lead to a clusterfuck. Once again Do NOT do this.

So what's the deal here? Clearly you want to marry some girl who your parents don't approve of. Are you still in college? Do your parents still support you financially? If this is the case then you're pretty well fucked. Why do you feel the need to marry so soon? If she's holding out on the puss for a ring then I'm telling you right now it ain't worth it.

why do people even try that "let's just say some guy" stuff anymore?

if you can't grow enough of a sack to tell your parents, you should definitely NOT be getting married.

It's called "eloping", and traditionally it's a way to marry the girl you want without HER parents trying to shoot you.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Fixed.

The way I look at it, you have 2 choices. One, you stay on your parent's financial tit, and you live by their rules. I don't care if you're in college, I don't care if you really really really love her and they'll never understand... whatever. If you are living on their dime, then you have to live by their rules. Stick it out... marriage is just a piece of paper. What's the difference if you have it or not?

Your other choice is to tell them your intentions. If you convince them to support your decision, then that's fine. Otherwise, be prepared to take your life (financial and otherwise) into your own hands. If you are going to be married, you should be in a position to support yourself and your family. Anything less than that and you are just playing games.
