basically i have a ti4800 and its the only thing that is noisy in my system . i got everything else be pretty quiet but i want to get a NV silencer 1. but i don't think it will work for a 6600, 6800 or a x800. i haven't really decided what video card i will upgrade to yet, but i don't plan to upgrade my video card for a few months. So im wondering is there a video card cooler that is silent but compatible with most video cards. That way when i do upgrade i don't have to buy another silencer. so can anyone help me with this?

You MIGHT be able to get some that will work between the generations... Check into the CoolerMaster CoolViva VGA Cooler and the Zalman units to see if they will fit your aged card. You'll need to use a fan if you want to use the newer cards, like the 6800 and X800...
