Is there a utility to check AGP/PCI bus speed?

I have Sandra and WCPUID and can't seem to find this. Is there a windows program that can show me this?

I find SANDRA very unreliable when it comes to reporting AGP and PCI speeds.

Well I guess this is a stupid questions then, sorry, but where in Sandra can I find this? i.e., which icon in the control panel. I guess I didn't look hard enough.

I was looking for this same info awhile back. I was never able to find anything that could do it. Forget Sandra. It can't do it.

well a little while back i read a review about the VIA chipset problems infolving pore pci transfer speeds and the people doing that had a program. ( i think it was software) checking the buss frequency and such. search for that.. i am sorry i don't rember.. when i get home i will try and rember to search throught my e-mail and see if i still have the link or if i can find it some were.

if you happen to find it post back. and post were you found it i don't even rember the people that did the review. i do know it was NOT VIA hardware...

sandra does not support all motherboards.

its info may be nonexistant or just plain wrong!
(i get no info from sandra on my SiS645 mobo - i also cant find a way to view temps from windows, mbm and pcprobe dont work)

LarryJoe is right - we need a better windows program for this kinda stuff.
im surprised that wcpuid doesnt show that info yet.

yes sandra does display all the bus info.. just click on the MAINBOARD INFORMATION and it will give u the FSB speed, memory speed, agp, pci, and isa if u have them.

now on the older versions it gave u the temp reading also.. i found that the 2001se, i believe, read my temp exactly the same as my bios did on my ASUS A7V133. but had problems on my ABIT KT7

the new one doesnt seem to give the temps anymore..

ah.. here is the article i read involving the pic bus readouts.

here

look through there and you will see what they used. unfortunatly it looks like software that interacts with special hardware. :( but i thought i would post it anway.

Yeah, I've seen it get it right sometimes. I've also seen some real crazy numbers. It doesn't (can't) measure the speed. It just takes a guess based on assumed parameters.
