Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, and Charleston are tourist attractions and I have been to all three more times than I can remember.

The only other attraction that is close to me that I haven't been to is the Master's tournament, I only live 10 minutes away from Augusta National and I have even had tickets to go, but golf just isn't my thing.

Hmm. Well Windsor has the Casino and the sex trade. Right now, the WWII Lancaster bomber that was on display in the park is on the ground and people can have a tour through it which is a current tourist attraction...

I guess this area has a bit to offer for tourists... Point Pelee National Park is one of the world's best birding destinations, and also the Monarch Butterflies migrate through Point Pelee which is a fascinating sight.

I've never been to the Space Needle.

I've never eaten there, but I have proposed to a dozen women there, and so far I have not been turned down.
EDIT: linkage

well i live right next to washington DC and it is absolutely not special at all to me. I am sick of going out to clubs/bars in DC and I hate the damn traffic there. but people come from all over the country to DC to visit. There are a lot of cool things to see, but they aren't special when its 5 mins from where you live.

Detroit has no real tourist attractions... its mosly repulsive.

I feel sorry for the Super Bowl tourists.

Lots of people come here to go on rafting trips on the Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue river. I've fished the Rogue, but I've never floated it.

I have been to Crater lake, but it was about 20 years ago and I haven't been there since moving to Southern Oregon even though it's only about 70 miles from my house.

Once you get past the negative stereotypes about the city, I think what you're left with is one of the most culturally rich cities in the US, as well as one hell of a centre for the arts. Not to mention some casinos and some of the finest restaurants around. After all... this is Motown we're talking about...
