You're actually better off with shorter hair.

My hair is beginning to thin so I have to cut it shorter. Even people who don't go bald have a receding hairline at the front. For real I remember as a kid, that my hairline on the top and sides matched. Now the hairline on the top has receded and of course, I have this kind of point on the sides. Apparently its totally normal because every dude has one. When it happened to me I was like what the hell when did that happen!? Then I realized everyone gets it.

Find a good barber. A short, clean look is infinitely better and more attractive than long, thinning hair. Because let's be honest, you're not fooling anybody.

use a product that adds volume or cut it short.

Instead of conditioner, douse your hair in the shower with a "protein gel" from the ethnic hair section of any drug store.

Wash it out with a mild shampoo (baby shampoo) and repeat every other day. Your hair will absorb the keratin proteins and thicken it.

Or it won't. I dunno.
