So what you want is a non-Slashdot type site for science, contrary to your title. Huh?Originally posted by: Chaotic42
Ok, we know that the people at Slashdot hate MS, Windows, SCO, capitalism, etc. Is there a site that doesn't have any of the IT news or the overbearing bias to it? Something with the latest news about biology, physics, geology, astronomy, etc?

arstechnica is seemingly more science oriented, have you been there?

Well, I was exaggerating a bit to try and be funny (looks like it didn't work though), but there are lots of stories about the bad sides of MS, but I can't recall many about the good things. Then again I stopped reading it regularly in 2000.
When I say I want a site without bias, I mean a site where the editors will still post an article about a theory on gravitational waves, even though they disagree with it.
When I say I don't like the Slashdot type bias, I also mean that I don't want to read 400 comments about how stupid the topic is, 5 comments about how great it is, and find only 1 useful comment in the whole lot. That's how it seems that Slashdot is.
