Is there a site i can specifically find a specific car im looking for?

im looking for a new cobalt, however with very specific options, no one around me has one, but i was wondering if there is a site i can go to. chevy.com allows me to view the car inventory at dealers around me, but not search for THAT specific car.

im going through GMS, so the car is supposed to be from dealer stock.

if you guys wanna help heres what im looking at: (upgrade pckg#)
4 door Cobalt
5 speed
Arrival Metalic Blue
Gray Sport Cloth
LS (1SA)
cd w/ mp3 player (US8)
Pioneer sound system (UQ3)
leather wrapped steering wheel (UK3)

From my experiences, your best option is to call dealers and ask them if they have that specific car. But often the problem is they lie just to get you to go down there.

I think you can also enter your info into price quote websites and they will email dealerships for you, but I don't know how specific you can get with your specs.

Talk to a sales person and see if he can "pull some strings" for you. If he wants your business, he may make it happen.

set price on the car, grandfather worked for GM back when, so his family gets discounts, on the cobalt its like 9% off sticker, no bargaining, no nothing, its set by GM.

Google "Car Price Quote" and send out your info to atleast 5 price quote sites. They give you plenty of options for specs, and you can put the rest of the stuff in the "notes" section. After a couple days you should start getting some to alot of responses.

I highly recommend making a new email address just for this purpose, becuase alot of these sites start to spam you afterwards.

I tried building up a truck from options and looked for it all summer while I was up in Portland a few years ago. I never even got close to finding that truck.

The dealers will lie to you just to get you down to the lot, so it's pointless to call around.

Perhaps try to find a broker. They have access to the regional inventory listings. I ended up dealing with a boker and he never saw my dream truck either.

BTW, I was simply looking for a truck with power windows and locks with a manual transmission.

the one good thing is that my father used to work for a larger dealer up here and still has a lot of buddis at the dealer so we basically can go up there, walk the lot, get a plate and drive off with the car and test drive it, no salesman in the back its always a good thing, lets us drive it how and where we want.

so they have ordered cars from other dealers for us previously.
