Coming from sociopathic, racist, corporate knob polisher, I'll take that as a compliment.

I am pretty sure spidey07 is not a sociopathic racist.

Glad you see the difference. (polishing knob)

JKing, please find a post of mine of where I disagree and don't like Obama that has anything to do with race other than Obama being a racist.

I live Dr. Martin Luther's Dream and judge content of character and not color of skin. It's truly sad that I and others who truly live the dream are deemed racist.

I've often found those that are throwing around the term "racist" so loosely (as JKing is) are oftentimes the biggest closet racists themselves. JKing is clearly an emotional basket case who is probably 12 years old. He is just spouting off the usual and predictable sound bites like a good little looney left comrade.

When people learn the keep emotions out of shit and think things through....things would be a hell of a lot better.

Very true. Try making a rational self interest argument with a health reform opponent, but apparently its impossible for them to lose their job, have their insurance coverage reduced, get sick, or have a sick child.

Have you tried having a reasonable argument with an Obamabot? Anyone who doesn't bow down and kiss the feet of Dear Leader is branded a birther-neocon-Nazi-astroturf-plant-teabagger.

I know it must be hard for you to accept, having such a small, closed mind. But not everybody who disagrees with you is wrong.
The irony of your post is delicious.

You're generalizing one guy to over 100,000,000. gg, sir. gg.
That number seems overly optimistic. I might agree with a zero removed.

Seems to be shrinking fast, too, with these kinds of displays.

Sure he is. He's a Neocon. He hates Obama purely because he's a black man. I was raised by a racist. I can spot one a mile away. If he wasn't, he sure as hell wouldn't be defending that piece of shit Beck, because he's indefensible.

Somebody get Jking his meds stat!

Your post is a lot like the "I'm not a racist, I have black friends" argument. "I was raised by a racist, so I know one."

I'd say that's a pretty safe assumption at this point. Hell, daddy issues are probably just the tip of the iceberg. The hate/rage is palpable.

After some more googling. This lady and two others were causing a scene with their signs, which they were told by the speaker they were not allowed to be brought in, let alone displayed. So that's why everybody was paying attention to them, they had already caused a disrespectful disruption before. They were allowed to remain as long as they kept the signs rolled up and out of view.

When the lady unrolled the sign to show off to the reporter/photographer that fine patriot took it from her as her lack of respect was not welcome. She and the others were told to not display them and keep them rolled up. She didn't, she suffered the consequences.

Racism not found.

The little snippet in the OP omits the Senator explaining what happened.

More information. The Senator had JUST told them to keep their signs down and rolled up. You can hear it in the first few seconds of the clip. A few seconds later this disrespectful lady rolls it open. That is why the guy took it from her and that is why the crowd cheered so loudly at her removal. She was being disruptive.

So there you have it, wingnuts explained this one with facts.

That's exactly my impression of him.

Seems both are shrinking, Dems and Repubs. What you should look at are the unaffiliated, probably more then that number.

Back on topic, what was she doing with a Rosa parks sign anyway? Did she just walk into a room and pretty much blanket call the people of her town racists. What if I walked in to one with a sign calling everyone a stupid, would you get offended?

Is there a simpler explanation for the recent spat of shout downs at town hall meetings?

Not really, just a bunch of petulant, overly emotional dimwits with nothing better to do.

So? It's stopping this bill. That is a wonderful thing. The death panels are being removed from the senates version. We're stopping this bullshit. This is wonderful.

It's sad when people act in an out of control manner or get violent at a peaceful political discussion and it shares the national stage with murders, rapes, and Micheal Jackson's death. This is the only way righties can garner attention, by losing their cool and acting like an emo idiot on the news. BBC ftw.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

You and I have been here for a long time Red. This place used to be a source for interesting debates when people like Netopia were around. Things could get heated, but people were generally respectful. Maybe I'm remembering things differently than they actually were, but it sure seems that the current crop of people in this forum on both sides of the aisle are simply assholes you wouldn't even bother to piss on if they were on fire. It's why I've given up on any notion of rational discussion and only hang around here to flame the idiots.

Oh boy. Another idiot.

If you're jealous of the attention, maybe you can join those Democrat union thugs and start pushing little old ladies around.
