Plus to do away with post counts would just cause so many problems and arguments, and would also create more hassle to do than it would be worth.

The post count gives people a venue for pointless competitiveness.

dighn has provided another good example , the "one liner" , this takes many forms, but is often an expression of agreement, disagreement or humour or anger, it can be any 1-2 words expression
