is there a record if a woman has an abortion?

I have been told by 2 different people both there is a record but also that they don't keep records of abortion
does anyone know this and what would it be on,medical history?
would insurance have a record?does insurance cover something like that?

I would think that they would put in their medical file to have a complete history, but I could be wrong.

Abortions shouldnt be recorded because you should just use the at home kit involving a coat hanger and some aspirin.

i don't think insurance would have a record of it because they don't cover abortions.

I have never had an abortion myself, but couldnt you just give false information and pay with cash?
Not everyone has a picture ID. Will they refuse to give the abortion without one?

But if complications arise, wouldnt that put both parties in danger.

I don't think they even let you in without one. That way when a terrorist comes in and shoots someone, they have something to ID them.

edit: i bet you money that in the fine print it says that it's only in cases of life endangerment.
