Is there a reason why USB hubs are normally 4-ports only?

- They make loads of hubs with more than 4 ports. 5 and 6 are quite common.
- Because they're all going to be sharing the bandwidth of one USB port between them all.

All of mine are 7-port. And they can be stacked.
