There was...last time I went in there I bought a circuit board for my EE class. It was like $6, and I handed the guy a $10 bill. He held it up into the light to make sure it wasnt fake... :|

I didn't even know they put those security strips in the $10 bills. Anyways, that radioshack was gone the next week. I guess the guy was making sure his last few $$ were going to be real.
