I dont mean the actual patches or active links to the patches. I just mean a huge updated list of all the latest versions of games. Once I know I need a new version I can dig for the patch myself. But its kind of a hassle when game companies make it unclear what the latest official patch even is.
Tonight I happen to be looking for the latest version of FEAR (1.08, which is on the collectors DVD) but its something I've thought about for a while. Gamefaqs doesnt do it, but I bet they could. They wouldnt even have to do it themselves, just let the members do it. Again, dont need the actual patch or even active links to the patch (those change too frequently) just an entry as to what the latest version is.

Fileshack has a pretty good list of patches that can be searched sorted by date and also downloaded:

http://www.fileshack.com/search.x?type=files&terms=&search_for=2&sortby=date&ascdesc=desc

Filefront also has a patches page:

http://www.filefront.com/game-patches

gamershell also has a nice one:

http://www.gamershell.com/patch_download_archive.html

RSS link for Gamershell:

http://www.gamershell.com/syndication/downloads/pc_patches_latest.xml

Very nice. This should be a sticky.

xfire does a pretty good job of keeping all of my non-steam games up to date. Check it out.. it also allows you to browse the web, instant message, and a few other things in game. I don't use it much anymore because most of my games are steam games.
