Most CD Burning software will convert MP3s to playable audio before burning to the CD. Nero seems to be the software of choice. I use it, and it works fine.
Or you can use Winamp to conver the mp3's to .wav files (the wav's will take up A LOT of disk space) then burn the wav files to a cd using the audio cd format.
Any decent cdr software will convert for you. For example, Both Nero and Adaptec EZ CD Creator will accept mp3s when you make an audio cd. They will convert them when you "drop" then into the file list.
