Is there a point to installing nVidia nForce3 SATA drivers if you're not using RAID?

Just got a K8N-E Deluxe today and I know from prior experience with the nForce3-250 chipset that you don't actually need to install the drivers if you're not using SATA RAID. What I'm wondering is whether the SATA drivers in the nVidia package offer something in terms of additional performance, lower CPU utilization, and/or features? All I'm going to be installing on my board's two native SATA channels are a Raptor and a SATA burner. Thanks in advance.
