Is there a place to just buy simple MP3s online?

I haven't bought any music online recently, so can someone tell me if a simple MP3 downloading site exists? I just want to search for a song, sample it to make sure it's right, and then buy it and be able to move it to another computer I own and still be able to play it (so no DRM). Is that not possible?

iTunes does not have DRM anymore either but their songs are in AAC, a royalty free format which many MP3 players support.

My preferred DRM-free mp3 store of late is lala.com. Unlike many other sites, it lets you listen to the WHOLE song before you purchase.

amazon if you need MP3. itunes sells DRM-free AACs, which are usually better sounding at the same bitrate than MP3, though not all players support the format.

I really enjoy Amazon - quite often they have some really good deals on MP3s as well.

amazon.com is pretty good. im also pretty sure that itunes went completely DRM free for all of their songs, but they are priced at either .69, .99, and 1.29 now.
