Yeah, that's because you can shred your own at home, or burn it. There's no home market for a reason...

At the shreader days I have heard about you get to watch the paper be placed in the shreader.
 
If you are so fvcking paranoid that you have to watch someone professionally shred your documents, then fvcking find a way to do it yourself.
 
I'll burn it for you...

Simply write "moved. New Address:" and put my address on it.
That way, the post office will ship it from you to me for free!
All I ask is that once a month, you also send me a fee for using your mail to start my bonfires.

ohh, I almost forgot... I hate the smell of burning plastic, so I'll have to remove any plastic items (i.e. pre-approved credit cards) before I burn it.

Seriously. Those things will turn one piece of paper into a hundred pieces of confetti. Unless I was working for the FBI or something a simple shredder would seem like plenty.

Actually, i BOUGHT a 50 dollar shreader from target about six months ago... I have about 500 letters/documents that i want to shread that i've saved over the last couple of months... after about 10 minutes of shreading the shreader died...

That's pretty much why I don't want to shread the thing myself... even after 10 minutes of shreading i still had 90 percent of my pile left...

Thanks to those with real answers, I'll contact kinkos and others to see what's up.

They were probably trying to be helpful and didn't know you had already tried a shredder. Don't be an ass.
 
Uh...fire? People have been burning their trash for hundreds of years.

It is perfectly legal and safe to burn your friggin mail.
