is there a phone number that you can call that lets you select a certain type of music, then plays it similar to being put on hold when calling a help line, execpt it plays the type of music you want to hear? Kinda like a digital radio with lower sound quality? You could hookup one of those earbud headsets and use it like a earphone. Im just trying to find a source of entertainment when at boring places like a doctor's office and im stuck with my cell phone and headset.

I know TMBG had a dial-a-song service for quite some time, although I have no idea if that's still in operation and that's hardly any type of music that you want. The sound quality is going to be really horrendous, you are aware of this right?

You could just get a new cell. It seems like a lot of them have built in radio functionality now.
