Is there a patron saint of beer?

And if so, are there free samples? Of the beer.
Which beer? He's the patron saint of beer - as in all beer - so yeah, I imagine there's a pretty good chance that at many, if not necessarily any and all, given moments, there are free samples of it available somewhere in the world... I suspect Germany would be a good place to start looking.😉

PS: There's pretty much a patron saint of just about anything and everything you can imagine, as long as it existed a century or so (or more) prior to asking the question (these things take time). As long as it isn't actually Evil (with a capital E) according to Christian theology, anway...

Probably, since tonight my friends and I enjoyed:

'15 Hopslam
'16 Hopslam
'16 Hop Rocket
'16 Abyss
Blake's Amshire
Hof ten Dormaal Kriek
Artisan Coffee Okie

Cut things short since I have to drive across the state tomorrow...

So jealous of your Hopslam. Only managed to blunder into a store once when it was available.

Despite living in SE Michigan, it can be difficult to get even there! Some stores limit to a 6-pack, others have no such restriction...I'm in Grand Rapids right now and hopefully I'll stumble upon some more Hopslam along with some other beers that aren't available back home.

Met a couple at Hopcat tonight that might be a source for one of the beers at the top of my "ISO" list. Trying to contain my excitement...

Dumb luck struck again. Went into a carryout in Columbus, OH today and they had Hop Slam in the cooler! They were even limiting to one six pack per customer.

Just popped a top on one. Very tasty but stronger than I remember in years past. 10.0 % ABV will have that but I swore I didn't notice the alcohol as much in the past.
