For those of you that have tried both the high def pack and advanced pack, do you really notice a dramatic difference between 480i and 720p? What about using xmbc to play videos that are not natively 720p.
I have a tv that does not suppor 720p, but suports 1080i. I think the tv automatically converts everything to 1080i, so whats the difference between upconverting it in xbmc versus the tv?
