is there a known poblem with the t bird-c

Not that I am aware of. Have you got a Ram problem, or are you running Ram at CLK+PCI? At 133MHz fsb, in that case you would be running ram at 166MHz. :Q

Compuwiz is correct as the c chips are engineered to run at a standard 266FSB (133). To crank the FSB you have to have good ram or you will be limited on how high you can go. I am using NEC VC Memory and running a "B" 1.2G Tbird I bought from compuwiz at 1454 with the FSB @153 and the memory running 2-2-2 in bios. I have a Asus A7V133 mobo and am using a water cooling setup. Oh yeah cooling is key to as tbirds run real hot. With this setup I reach about 106'F under a load🙂
