Is there a good, free driver cleaner to get my video drivers off?

I saw driver cleaner for $10 and I know I have heard about a driver cleaner that works great but I am not sure if these are the same. If I can get a great one for free that's awesome but I don't mind paying $10 if it is a good product I can use over and over. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The old versions are free. The up-to-date version now costs money.

that seems to be the $10 question.

i just switched from x1950pro to an 8800gts and i used the free driver cleaner pro 1.5.

ill see how this runs before i fork over 10 clams. its not much money in the grand scheme ot things but 10 bucks here and 10 bucks there adds up.

I can't really speak to the new driver question because I am using the free one linked above (Driver Cleaner 3) on an x1800xt, hardly a new card. However, it did solve the problems I was having.

Thanks, will be trying the driver cleaner tomorrow. Det destroyer didn't work for me. I'm surprised that video card manufacturers don't include a driver remover in their sw package. It would potentially remove a rivals sw and make their hw perform better.

Anyone have a link to Driver Cleaner 3 Pro or whenever the last free version was released? I don't think I have the installer, at least I can't find it.

Or know the file name? Maybe it will show up on Google.

You mean (for example) nVidia providing a utility that deletes ATI drivers? I'm thinking there would be a legal issue with that.
