What reason is there to believe there is a god? Teachings you've had all your life? Ancient Greeks believed in Hermes and Aphrodite because they were taught to, but does that mean they were real? They could be.

In your way of thinking, that's the way it is. Why did something have to create the universe? Do you have a detailed statistical analysis of the "chance all this was here without something"?

do you mean the part of history where we're actually just an experiment to discover the question to the answer of the meaning of life?

I personally believe that there is no God the way organized religion believes in one, I think science could provided a much more realistic and more fascinating answer.

There is no god.
We are all alone.
Life is meaningless and absurd.

... yet, I'm perfectly fine with that.

I say yes, and he must have a really odd sense of humor. Otherwise I can't explain why alot of people have survived nearly as long as they have...

My mind says no. If I'm going to be damned because my mind says no, then so be it.

The universe is vast and infinite. You can't even begin to comprehend the amount of possible combinations and chances that could possibly exist.... the amount could possibly drive you possibly insane. Which one of those chances created God?
