Well, like most of you I have a yahoo, hotmail, gmail, plus some other email accounts i actively use for different purposes. Is there a piece of software that would allow me to check them all in one place and reply to each from the respective account?

thanks.

Most of the major POP3 mail clients offer this feature. Downloading mail from a web-based account to a POP3 client is often a fairly benign task as well.

Not sure if all the web versions allow you to download them via a POP3 setup. But I know in yahoo you can set it up to check other system's email if it's a POP3 account. I know Outlook can check Hotmail but not sure if it can check google and gmail.

yup, outlook and thunderbird can be used to get all pop3 accounts. yahoopops can be used to get yahoo mail, outlook can get hotmail (not sure about thunderbird for that). gmail, im not so sure, but its kinda new so i would expect eventually something will get developed.
