Is there a DVD player that plays MP3 DVDr disc?

My 2 DVD players (Harman/Kardon and Apex) can all play MP3 CDR disc, but not DVDr disc.

My phillips does...the 6XXX, can't remember the model number. Someone here is sure to know it though. It even plays Divx.

I think I know which model you are talking about. You mean that you can burn mp3's on a 4.7gb dvd and it plays on that player?

yes my phillips does that as well, does not play divx tho, but i dont care about that

anyone here get in on that free apex dvd player from viking.com? I have one and it plays fine, I wonder if it will play mp3's off a dvd tho. I hate to burn one and find out it wont.

Just burn a DVDR disc and find out like I did, it costs <50 cents anyway.

Philips DVP642 has been mentioned a few time in hot deals. I checked its product desciption, it says "plays CDs loaded wth MP3s", didn't mention anything on MP3 DVD+R/-R. I'm not sure whether this model is what they're referring to.

but I am almost positive it is the one MisterJackson was referring to, and he said it plays it.

There's some software out there that creates a DVDR with MP3's or WAV files and it's supposed to work in any DVD player. I just installed the software but I haven't tried it yet.

It's called Audio DVD Creator.
