...the following TV shows?:

Psych
The Mentalist
Lie To Me

I have not watched any of them (I think Lie To Me has not aired yet), but, based on the ads, they all look to be about the same thing.

Psych came first, I believe. Is it so successful that the other networks think it needs to be copied (twice)?

They were playing commericals for Lie to Me during the first playoff game this weekend. I was telling my friend how I didn't think it would last long. I mean how many episodes can you have where he reveals a new way to detect a lie? He mentioned how quickly the show Fringe became repatative and out there.

These shows are the reason I don't watch much TV aside from "reality" TV like The First 48, COPS, 48 Hours etc etc.

I think all of these shows got started cause of CSI. Damn you CSI and your 3 spin offs!

Bones is a great show that for some reason known only to them, Fox keeps trying to kill off by playing musical schedules with it. :disgust:
