for MINOR overclocking the vm is a great board
for medium to max overclocking, it will consume all your free time, so go w/ the v
what do you concider a minor overclock?

minor as in just tweaking a the fsb a bit - just increasing the sucker to 133FSB. Is this possible and can I increase the fsb by 1mHZ increments? Also, should I get the P4B533-VM or P4S533-VM, there is a $20 difference.

Thanks!

if your cpu can do it @stock voltage, you will be ok
one is an intel chip set
the other is a sis chipset

any numbers on high you can increase the fsb without touching the voltage? I've seen some numbers pointing to 2.4 but I'm not sure if there's a good general number.

any ideas?

that truely is individuallistic..
it really depends on the processor itself
but for the most part, a SLIGHT OVER CLOCK needs little or no voltage boost, but the higher you want(very adictive hobby)
the more voltage the processor may require.
