Is there a car rental company that rents Mustangs?

Is there a car rental company that rents Mustangs?

I have been looking and most just have a generic model and say or equivalent. I would like a mustang for my honeymoon 🙂.

I am 23, fiancee is 24. Clear driving records.

How much for a week rental did you pay?

where is your honeymoon ? We were in Hawaii and Mustangs were running amuck (sp?) meaning almost all the companies there had them. Loses its novelty in that case if you ask me...

Hertz (both convertible and non-convertible). Would opt for renting a Jaguar instead (which Hertz also offers).

If opting for the Mustang, merely tell the representative exactly what you are looking for. If the vehicle is in their fleet, they'll reserve that particular one. When on vacation in Orlando, took the S-Type out for a few days, as I was considering purchasing one.

I don't think a manual tranny will matter....It's the honeymoon. There is only one stick that will shifted, and it won't be the mustang's....

Honeymoon is in CA. Going from Ontario, CA to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, then Redwood Natl Forest down 101/1 back to Ontario.

<= From Texas, never been to CA.

Regular rental places are all going to be 6 cylinder autos (as posted), but you can rent pretty much anything you want from a company that specializes in exotics.

Obviously a Mustang GT isn't an exotic, & it won't carry the $600 day price tag of a true exotic, but it will still be significantly more than renting from any of the normal car rental places.

Also, most exotic rentals are quite strict about their age limits (as opposed to simply charging you more for under 25).

Agreed. I drove a V6 'Stang 1800 miles from IA to AZ. UHG! Plus I rented one from Hertz once. Gutless. Uncomfortable. And some of the worst build quality I've ever seen.

Avis is too expensive. They are almost 3x as much as anyone else.

Avis is usually cheaper than Hertz for me. Also, Avis has NEVER harassed me about being under 25. The one time I dealt with Hertz they refused to rent to me (I'm 24).
