is there a browser-based distributed computing client?

I think google had some protein folding project that worked through the toolbar, but that was a while ago. Dunno if tis still going.
 
it could run in java or flash, which could be fast.

and who really cares how fast it is if you can have it run on 1000000 computers? #comps > speed

Yeah, it was a java applet. Cool idea for distributing sans install, but completely ridiculous in how they deployed it.
