Is there a better way to do a whois?

On a domain... There is an ongoing war in my town, Burlington, IA...

The website is www.BurlingtonDerailed.com...

I tried using a website, but got GoDaddy Software as the owner... Is there anyone who can figure out the person who registered the website?

That information could be private. Have you tried contacting that owner GoDaddy Software and asking them who registered that site? You might want to start there.

It is private. Its registered to Domainsbyproxy.com, which hides the owners contact info.
