I don't like Denzel all that much.
Not an actor, but Jodie Foster is great.
Ian Mckellen is awesome in everything he is in.
I also really enjoy Christian Bale's work.
And as weird as he is, Tom Cruise, IMO, is a great actor.
Russell Crowe too.
Oh yeah, Liam Neeson too.

I would rank Johnny Depp as one of the top 3 actors of our time. Brad Pitt has done some incredible work as well...IE 12 Monkeys!

I'll have to agree with that.

I hated the drunk gay pirate, but Depp has some good roles.

Pitt was great in 12 Monkeys and Snatch.

Are you serious? I have never though Denzel has ever been anything other then Denzel. I don't consider that acting. He is the same person (with different lines) in every movie I have seen. Now he is not a horrible actor but he is certainly not the best...I have not seen Glory but I am convinced it is no different. He is the black version of Keanu Reeves IMHO...lol.

but yea I agree about Denzel, he too can be convincing of any role he plays.

Just his performance in that, and Shawshank, puts him ahead of Denzel for me. And I like Denzel, too. He was phenomenal in glory. I just think Freeman is a little better.
