no there isnt, but you can grab the game for like 20 bucks at the store and get a rebate which basically makes it free plus the first month is free. ive been playing ac since beta 1, i suggest you just pick up the game, i doubt you will regret it. it's a great game just make sure you find a good patron.

MMORPG's usually have beta's in lieu of a demo.

I'd say just pick it up, it's not expensive. You might even want to wait until Christmas when the expansion comes out, as it'll be $20 and'll include the original too.

i play on Wintersebb right now. it's 10 a month to play and i dont know if it's better than EQ since i've never played EQ.

or... instead of buying a new account, you can have my lovely account with a lvl 45 unarmed on HG who comes with a bunch of great stuff, and he's wearing a suit of prepatch celdon armor =). ooooh...ahhhhh (actually worth some money on ebay).
