Is there a 939 motherboard that doesn't support dual channel?

A friend of mine told me that not all 939 motherboards support dual channel memory. I thought that all 939 motherboards supported it, and then he said that and it shook my world. I didn't think that only some of the 939 boards would support it and some don't it just doesn't make sense. Any how if there is a 939 motherboard that doesn't support dual channel please post it so I can see it. Oh and could someone tell me, if I'm right, why there isn't/can't be a 939 motherboard that doesn't support dual channel? Thanks in advance guys.

Even the crappy soyo boards support dual channel mem...no, there is not a SINGLE board which does not support dual channel mem. Even the nForce 4s a and KT890s support it. Your friends is prob thinking of the older version of the Athlon 64, socket 754, as oppsed to the 940 pin...

The signifigance of skct 939..hence why it is sckt 939 is dual channel memory controller. A board wouldn't be called a sckt 939 board without dual channel memory controller....who point of the sckt change....He can get a sckt 754 if he wants single channel....

Because the memory controller is on the CPU and it would be utterly insane to not fully support it.
