Is the X800 GTO2 always moddable to X850XT?

I need to know if the X800GTO2 is always moddable to X850XT. Does it depend on the brand? What are the chances of succes?

X800GTO2 ALWAYS 100% of the time mods to 16 pipes. 95% of the time it overclocks to X850XT speeds on top of that mod. All X800GTO2s are Sapphire.
