It comes with 4 ns RAM. I haven't checked the clock speeds but I imagine it's clocked 250/250.

So, how high have you gotten yours without modding it?

I don't own one personally but the overclocking results I've heard are extremely impressive.
BTW, the retail R7500 clocks in at 290/230, not 250/250.

I run mine at 305/280 with no problems. I have had it as high as 315/285 with out any artifacts running 3DMark2001. Mine is an OEM made by Ati in Canada. Stock clock 290/230 by default.

These are great video cards price/performance.

Niiiiiiiiice.... after my post I went out and bought one. I figured for $200 it was worth it over the LE if only for the additional features.

1 question though:
Why the hell would they clock the memory 230 MHz if they use 4 ns chips? Am I missing something or isn't 1 second / 4 ns per cycle = 250 MHz ?

200 bucks? Dang, you should've gotten one when I had them for $100 shipped!!! =)

But isn't it cheaper than 200? Aren't the 8500s around 200? Or did you get a 8500?

$100 will not get you a retail 7500. It will get you a 3rd party OEM 7500. You can get an ATI OEM for about $120 and Best Buy currently has the retail box for $150. The MSRP is $199.

Before Mods my retail was pretty stable 330/298 with 351/308. The newer drivers and things like the wolfenstien ,Mohaa demos get the occational glitch so I backed off to 340/295 but thats with mods.

Just picked up a Radeon 7500 yesterday. Haven't tried O/C a video card yet - any advice on how to go about it? TIA

$200 Canadian?
Where did you buy it at, that's an extremely nice price for an R7500 in Canada.

Just about every retailer in Canada has the retail 7500 for $200

I know for sure that Staples/Business Depot does
--only because i work there :) --

But if you live closer to a future shop or anywhere else i'm sure they'd have the exact same retail for $200 CDN

Future Shop has it on sale for $200, Compusmart has it for $200 with free shipping on a permanent basis. I believe business depot's $200 price was also a sale since in my local Bureau-en-Gros it was marked as a sale.

This card is a nice little OC'er... Currently running @ 330/277 without mods :) ... I don't know how you guys got the memory up so high... Past 280, I get artifacts and can't loop 3DMark2001 stably... At current levels, it's like a rock and without artifacts.
