I have Siemens M65, it has the same crap address book system that you guys are sh1tting on. I hate the thing now. It sends bulk SMS at random because the keylock is dodgy, also the first release version was recalled because if the battery warning sound went off when you were on the phone it could cause ear damage. I only bought it because I loved the far more functionaly superior C35i which someone stole off me while I was drunk.

My girlfriend however bought the S65, and every problem I have had with the M appears to have been fixed on it. It's also cheaper and has a better camera, it's still not that good though.

I was considering replacing it with a Razr just for the look, but what I really want is a Xelibri 5. Don't care for the lack of functions any more, just needs to work and be different from what everyone else has.

I almost bought one yesterday but I couldn't justify paying an extra $200 for its physical appearance.

It looks pretty, the RF isn't that great on it and the software is laggy. Atleast Nokia knows how to do RF.

what i dont like with most motorolas was the phonebook

if you had someone's cell phone, work phone and home phone you had to make 3 seperate entries in the phone book and it lists them under 3 seperate names

not sure if this applies to the razr but that is one of the thing i hated about the motorola phone i used to have

my samgsung works the same way

my samsung e715 doesnt

under 1 name entry i can have an 3 numbers and an e-mail entry

imo it is retarded to see the same name 4 times in a list because of that lameass implementation of a phonebook

IMO no
i just list them like this

Bill Cell
Bill Home
Bill work

finding them is easy as hell, and i dont think i have anyones email addy stored in my phone, nor do i know why i would

to send pictures perhaps?

you dont wanna get me started on how pointless i think cameraphones are

K750i > All.

W800i actually.. Hah. Screw you RaZr users. I've been using my V600 for over a year now and I got it for free. It's effectively a razr minus the casing, but now I'm onto a K750i for FREE. So when you guys start hyping a cell phone that can match the K750i next year I'll be on to even better stuf...

RAZR = Advertising/branding

MOTOROLA = Slow, buggy software

It shows the power of a big advertising budget and some clever people who decided to give the phone a name and an image. This should win Product of the Year from the marketing people, but not from the technology people. Nokia phones like the 6230 are far superior IMHO, but they are ugly and Nokia doesn't know a think about marketing.

You must be kidding me. The razr is all design. The sidekick 2 was a work of art inside and out. Ive never used a more well designed phone OS. That thing could do anything, in the blink of an eye. The keyboard was more comfortable than any other thumb board Ive ever used. As stripped down as the pda functions on it were, I used it ten times more than any regular pda because it was so convenient. Ill never use a retarded stylus pda again. The only thing holding it back is the closed architecture which kept most programmers from developing for it.

Honestly, it is the first phone I've ever forgot was in my pocket. I've had probably 6 or 7 phones over the last few years, and I have to say I'm digging the v3.

The interface is kinda bleeehhhh, the phone book sucks, and for some reason I still can't got my computer to read it via the cable (I gave up because I really don't care and I leave it on vibrate anyways). But honestly, it's form over function with this thing, and it truely holds a place in my mind as the coolest phone I've ever owned.

I really like how I can make calls on speaker without ever opening the flip too (thanks again to tweaking).

what tweek did you do to get the speakerphone to go on without tweaking?

I was about to buy that phone on amazon for like $400 (after 2 year contract) but when I put more thought into it, I opted not to and did some more searches. I then found out there were these things called "smartphones", did some reasearch and found the Audiovox SMT5600, it is my current phone now. :) I love the phone, its great that I can listen to mp3s, oggs, watch movies or TV shows, play the original doom, and do other things other phones can do as well.

Hell fvcking no. A friend of mine sent me nudies of herself, taken by the phone. I must say that I'm impressed not only with the quality of the phone's pictures, but with the T&A.

I'd like to have one, but the sticker price makes it impratical.
My phone goes to work with me, gets dirty, floats around in my pocket with dirt and rocks, it just wouldn't work out. It's be ruined in no time.
I understand the phone has a very substantial construction, that's why I considered it in the first place.
It's on the lo9ng list of stuff I want but will likely never buy.

The phone can be had for free after rebates. In fact amazon has a deal where you will be paid $25 after rebates.

I wish someone like motorola would drop all the features but using a phone as a damn phone, and make a thinner razr.

That, i would buy.

For now ill stick with my "comes free with a plan" trash, until someone puts out something i really want.

Simple, Light, Thin.

Actually...Motorola phones (at least the ones that i have had) have far superior reception than any nokia i've ever tried...calls are crystal clear on my v265 and it holds the signal pretty well...

I just got one.

It's cute and small, but otherwise it serves the same function for me that any other phone does - calling/accepting calls.
