my dad (mail carrier) is working today i believe, so i'd say they're open. they were closed saturday for veteran's day.

I had a few ebay things that had to go USPS.
I figured the PO was shut down today, but when the UPS guy showed up I figured I better check.

The school system I work for was closed Friday and I am pretty sure the Feds were closed as well. I think since the postal service normally works on Saturdays they took the holiday then rather than Friday.

Veterettes would be good. Veterines would be more fitting for former Marines. LoL!!

I know federal employees observed Veteran's Day Friday. The PO is federal so I would think they observed it Friday as well.

I see. the Schools were closed on Thursday and Friday here in Jersey because of the teachers convention in Atlantic City. So maybe they just mixed it in with that.
