Is the original Titan still good enough for 1680*1050?

The fans on my PCS R9 390 have died so I am getting a vanilla GTX Titan from a friend for use until I get the RX 480. Will it still run games like Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider or Crysis 3 at High-Ultra settings at 1680*1050?

Edit: It seems the GTX 780 is able to so I'm assuming the Titan should be able to as well?

You had a 390 on 1680x1050? If you care about graphics/image quality, at least move to 1080p. Your incoming 480 will handle it easily, really.

The original Titan is no slouch, and is probably faster overall than a RX480.

Did you RMA the 390? It should be under warranty.

Limited number of games being tested here @ 1440p, but it shows that Big Kepler can still hold it's own against the 970 and 480 in certain titles.

As time goes on, the 780/Titan will lose more and more ground, but it's still a very serviceable GPU today for 1080p/1440p.

You should be fine at that res for a while, but I would look into an RMA
