Is The Office the funniest show since Seinfeld?

It's funny, in any other show I would have thought that was retarded, but it's amazing how into a character you can get, even into a comedy. That's one thing I like about The Office (and AD), they were actually linear. One episode did lead into the next one. They don't really stand alone that well.

i can't remember the last time i got goosebumps when i saw a kiss on TV like that. maybe ross and rachel from friends? it was nicely done.

hopefully they can keep up the comedic edge while teasing the romantic angle.

Eventually, she does hook up with Tim on the UK show. In the special, after Season Two, she leaves her fiancee and ends up with Tim. It's actually really touching the way it plays out.

The Office is hilarious. I also love Seinfeld - you either hate it or you love it.

the office is ok from what ive seen, but i dont watch alot of network tv

i still watch seinfeld reruns from time to time, some of the bits are better than others, but its still one of my favorite shows

It's suprising that you'd say it's ok, everyone I've ever heard talk about it either loves it or hates it, there isn't much middle ground from what I've seen.

Agreed.. Dwight, imo, is the best character. I think the boss (Michael) is the worst.

I agree with that. I like Steve Carell, but he's kind of over the top. It's to the point where NO boss would act like he does throughout the entire series. They need to make Michael a more believable boss.

Love the feud between Dwight/Jim though. Cracks me up every time.

My favourite episode is the one where they all do the conflict resolution. 😀 The stuff Jim was doing to Dwight was freaking amazing.

Putting nickels in the phone until he got used to the weight, then removing them all so he smacks himself in the head? That's comedic genious!
