Is the new Intel chip or the AMD chip going to be better?

I have heard rumors that the new AMD chip is going to be better than the new Intel chip. Does anyone know anything about this?

Lets just wait and see...All the speculation and flame waring won't make any difference rightnow....Shut up and perform time is coming soon....

My gut tells me the Hammer will regain crown but it may be minor and short lived...may be a nice year of each leap frogging each other frequently...Anyways it should be a great year for us frequent upgraders.
 
Ah...i switched from Northwood to Athlon for temporary purposes and was thinking of going back to Intel when Presscott comes out next year. If Hammer will be better.....I guess, i will stick w/ AMD for longer then 😉

maybe go back to intel when P5 comes out ? who knows when 😀 (maybe never if AMD keeps me satisfied) 😉
