a friends getting this. not sure if i like it i think he should go epox but as of now epox is a hot commodity.

maybe i should sell mine for 200.00 ( price and demand ) HEHE

MSI K7T266 Pro is a fairly good board. It has a decent ocing feature set, has RAID, and is fairly high performing, once the latest BIOS is flashed. It is a good board, but EPoX is slightly better (6 PCI, instead of 5, 1/5PCI divider allows very high fsb speeds like over 166MHz, K7T266 Pro can't even hit 138MHz because of a KT266 bug having to do with USB note see below). I'd go Epox, but there's nothing wrong with K7T266 Pro.

Note: I was just reading a thread here, and it was saying that a PCI USB card can be used on KT266 boards to work around this bug.

Tell your friend to wait for the EPoX, it is the best DDR board on the market.
