Well the kit comes with a lot more. I think it was actually $14 for a long time. For me, it was worth the price for the mug, the magnet, and the mouse pad. I don't really use are the Urban Achiever certificate, bowling shirt patch, booklet thing, and pinky toe (with nail polish).
Honestly I haven't used one in years, at home or at work.
When I walk around at work I don't see anyone using one...
need one... there's a large difference between use of the web and gaming. I can see why you wouldn't need one considering how well they do react on basically anything.
I use them; fabric on neoprene. It gives the right amount of friction, and protects the feet.
I'm still using one I got in 1990.
