Is The Lian-Li PC-65 with window louder then a PC-60 without window?

Question, I'm thinking of buying a Lian-Li. The PC-65 is the exact same as the PC-60, except that the PC-65 has a plexiglass window as a side panel. The PC-65 definately looks cooler with the window, but will it be noisier? Does the plexiglass absorb less sound then the aluminum? My main concern is noise, so I'd like to get the quietest one. Thanks in advance!

I think I read somewhere that the windows are glued in addition to riveted, so this should cut down somewhat on rattling and the like.

I'm going to agree with faction. Even if there is a difference, it's probably so minute it's unnoticable by any human ear. Go with the pc 65, you'll love it.

It's hard not to like the PC65 with the built-in 11.5 x 13" window. The factory window is much bigger than other plexiglass window kits.

I once thought about just getting a PC7 $107 (just like PC60 but no sliding MB tray, no front fan control and a few less thumbscrews) and then buying a side panel window $30 afterwards.. total = $137

..but now you can get the PC65 for $140 at www.mpcparts.com
