Is the Intarweb goin slow for anyone else??

I mean REALLY slow. Extended pings shows minimal packet loss to my gateway, but after that it gets ugly. Up to 25% packet loose to a router.
RoadRunner is gonna be having a chat with me come Monday. :|
I want a guy to come out with an Agilent and run tests on my line.

Till then, anyone else having latency??

Easy fix..how old is your modem? I had this same problem with RR but it ended up being my old ass modem. I got a new one and BAM, new intrarweb.

Yep, I'm thinkin modem. I restarted, pwoer cycled modem..... She's runnin fairly decent. Seems about once a year I gotta go swap modems.... :frown:

i work on major fiber backbones. I've seen what happens when a core router fails, or when a fish eats a fiber line (yes, it happens) or when a major virus gets released. I know first hand how badly shyte can hit the fan at times, unfotunately.
