Depends on the games you play. It can struggle on some games (Watch Dogs), and yet be a bargain (Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim, etc) on others. Some reviews:-

BioShock Infinite plays great on a Pentium. But seeing these sites recommend it for playing Tomb Raider ultra with a 780Ti is hilarious. You can tell they only did the built in benchmark, which isn't bottlenecked at all by the Pentium. But play the actual game with an overclocked Pentium (I had mine at 4.4 GHz) and a comparable card (in my case a 970) and it has low GPU usage and is constantly oscillating between 40-60FPS with VSync on. Turning it off doesn't make it any smoother, and it's not at all fun to play. The second I installed my quad core Xeon it locked to 60FPS ultra and has steady 100% GPU usage when I turn off vsync.
