Seriously though, I had a first "date" at the beach.... drove 8 hours to pick up the girl, and another 1 1/2 to the beach. Had a wonderful time. It led to more "dating", but an 8 hour drive for each date, plus 8 hours to get back home was awfully hard to keep going. Still, they account for some of the best days of my life, and certainly better dates than movies or some other lame thing. Lots of time spent talking; either while lying in the sun, or walking in the surf.
