Is the Audi S3 ever going to come to the states?

Seeing as they they're introducing the RS6 and RS4 (I believe?) to the states.. Any news on the S3?

They'd likely bring over the A3 first, and AFAIK Audi hasn't shown any interest of importing either.

Bah to the GTi. They're nice cares and such.. but the interior of the A3/S3 looks so much better.

The current AW rumour mill has it that the A3 will make it over to our side of the pond sometime in 2004 as an '05 model with the S3 coming out the same time or a year later.

I saw a couple of the A3 in costa rica. Not bad looking cars, but they look just like the golf/gti, seems like it would be directly competing with the higher priced gtis.

Audi A/S3 is awesome car . If you don't need a big car, but you still need an awesome car, A3 is the way to go .

Yea. I don't like big cars and my hatch right now is serving me nicely. Lots of room in the back, gonna need it for moving into dorms.. Maybe I'll look at the GTi if I have too..

I think the lupo would be too small to have in the US. Is that the smallest one or is it the Polo? It would probably fit my needs fine, but driving around with people in Excursions and Suburbans and what have you, wouldn't be wise.

The lupo is a little smaller than a polo.
