Is the Asus rt-n12 wireless router any good for $30? Edit: Bought a NETGEAR WNR3500L

I was looking for a router since I'v been using a borrowed one for a couple of weeks and noticed that Newegg had a asus rt-n12 for $30 with free shipping. Is this a good deal for a N router? I have a desktop and at least 2 wireless laptops.

I purchased one a few mo's ago. I didn't use the factory firmware, I have DD-WRT on it and it's a little sketchy on the wireless, it seems to drop connections every once in a while which never happened with my linksys wrt54g(s). Have to try a later release and see if it helped.
